How do whales push out of water?

Can you imagine how much force it would require to push such a large body of whale out of water without any sort of large wings. Well Whales are capable of using their powerful flukes (or tail fin) to push their large body out the water. Whales use their flukes as propellers and push themselves forward inside water.
